Everything that schools and teachers need to know about Dukley Art Residence

Overview

Our Art Residence program is a 7–10-day educational trip for school groups of up to 10 students and 2 accompanying teachers.

It can take place during holidays or the academic year, offering a mix of art, travel, cultural exploration, and continued school learning — all hosted on the campus of Dukley Academy, a British international school in Budva, Montenegro.

Why Schools Choose It

Academic Integration
We welcome teachers to continue their lessons on site.
We provide classrooms, materials, and full support to align the trip with your curriculum — including GCSE, A-level, and IB subjects such as Art, Geography, and Global Perspectives.
Our teachers are happy to help you select topics inspired by local history, geography, and nature.

Safety and Environment
All lessons and activities take place on campus in an elite residential area of Budva.
Students stay either in the Harmonia Hotel (in the same building as the school) or one of three nearby hotels — Mediterranean, Zeta, or Tara.
The area is quiet, secure, and within walking distance of the sea and all program locations.

Partnership and Collaboration

Dukley Academy is a licensed Pearson-accredited British International School.
We are open to long-term cooperation, memoranda of understanding, and co-branded school trips.
Our goal is to create sustainable partnerships with schools that value creative, safe, and academically meaningful travel experiences.

What's inside the Program

Learning — Schools are encouraged to bring their own teachers who can continue the school program during the trip. We assist with preparation, scheduling, and provide all materials and facilities needed for effective lessons.

Art — Students take part in daily ceramic workshops led by professional mentors and complete a creative project showcased in a final public exhibition in Budva. Each participant leaves with a tangible addition to their artistic portfolio.

Exploration — Excursions, nature walks, and cultural visits are part of the experience. All destinations are nearby, and transportation is fully organized by our team.

Character and Global Development — Students interact with Dukley Academy peers, gaining confidence, independence, and international awareness in a supportive school environment.

Organization and Cost

Flights are arranged by the visiting school.
We handle accommodation, meals, local logistics, and excursions.
Participation cost is calculated per student, and schools may book accommodation independently if they prefer.

We are happy to provide fundraising materials to help families make the program accessible to everyone.
All meals and creative materials are included in the price.

Flexible scheduling: we host only one group at a time and can adapt to any school calendar.
