We invite groups of children (aged 9-12) with teachers to visit Montenegro for a week — combining creative workshops, cultural exploration, and personal art projects in an unforgettable experience.

What's inside the journey?

Dukley Art Residence® is an immersive art program in Montenegro, combining creative workshops, cultural excursions, and hands-on mentorship. Students enjoy a vibrant, seaside campus, guided by expert teachers and artists. This week-long journey inspires personal growth and creativity for children and educators alike.

We invite groups of up to 10 children with 2 adults (usually at least one of the accompanying adults is a teacher who is ready to conduct lessons according to the school curriculum with our support)

The program consist of three parts:

The students will:

  1. Explore Montenegro

Students and their teachers, guided by our team, explore Montenegro through excursions and leisurely walks — discovering its stunning nature, rich culture, and fascinating history.

There’s so much to see nearby: from the pebble shores of Bečići Beach and the charming Old Town of Budva, to the iconic Sveti Stefan Island, hidden waterfalls, the Kotor Fortress, peaceful monasteries, and lush gardens.

  1. Learn

This program is designed to complement, not interrupt, your child’s school learning.

During their stay, students continue academic activities — exploring art, history, and geography through hands-on experiences.

We provide teachers with preparation materials so classroom themes can align with the trip.

We make sure every experience — from a museum visit to a sketching class — supports real academic growth.

  1. Create

Each student creates an individual clay art project under the guidance of professional artists.

At the end of the week, their works are displayed in a student exhibition — the perfect starting point for a creative portfolio.

This experience builds both confidence and evidence of long-term creative engagement valued by universities and art schools.

Universities appreciate not only talent, but creative continuity — this trip helps your child begin that journey.

Daily schedule

Each program day may vary according to the time of year and group interests, however an average program day consists of three distinct parts separated by meals:

Morning slot (10:00–13:00) – academic and exploratory sessions led by the visiting group's own teacher, taking place in our dedicated classroom facilities or during guided local walks and excursions. Teachers are supported in curriculum preparation in advance. In warm months (May, June, September, and October), we recommend including swimming at the nearby beach (just a 3-minute walk from the school) at the end of the morning session.

Afternoon slot (15:00–17:30) – a hands-on art workshop conducted by our local artist. The primary medium is clay, but we can adapt to other materials based on the group’s preferences.

Evening slot – flexible time led by the visiting teachers for activities such as journaling, media reflection, games, or film screenings.
